Welcome to the Arts & Humanities Weekly Division News!

Island 1Adjunct Appreciation Day On Monday, October 27, the A&H division is celebrating “Adjunct Appreciation Day” by hosting a potluck. The potluck will run from 11-2 p.m. and will be held in the R230 lunchroom. Please know that there will also be coffee and treats in the morning and  goodies throughout the afternoon as well.
Please join us in recognizing and thanking our colleagues whose work is vital to the college’s mission! Contact Katherine Oleson or Maggie Harada with any questions.

Notification of Absences:

  •  Instructors who miss a scheduled class for any reason must notify their program chair AND division staff.
  •  Please call 425-564-2341 or x2344 and (if possible) speak to a LIVE person, who will post the information outside the classroom for students. Before or after office hours, call BC Security (425-564-2400).
  •  Follow-up with an email. Do not leave voice-mail or only send an e-mail to one staff member. Do not arrange for a substitute yourself; that is the responsibility of your program chair.
  • When you return to campus, please complete an absence slip, available in the A&H Forms Library on MyBC.

Fall Quarter 2014 Syllabi 

The fall quarter 2014 syllabi site is up and running.  However there are a few glitches that are being worked on.

Please note that there are a few syllabi that were sent to either Bernadetta Titus or Janis Juarez that haven’t been posted yet.

If you haven’t turned in your fall syllabi please submit them through the Request Center, or e-mail them directly to Janis or Bernadetta if you are teaching for the ELI Program.

Keep your eyes and ears open for news regarding winter quarter 2015 syllabi, things are gonna be a changing.
