I attended the Middle East Technical University / Informatics Institute where I received my Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Information Systems, and a second MS in Computer Education and Instructional Technology. I worked as an Assistant Professor at Atılım University, Turkey for about six years. I has been teaching a wide range of courses in various areas including programming, data structures, database systems, mobile application development, design patterns, object-oriented programming and senior project.

Apart from teaching and administrative duties, I have been doing research in diverse fields including mobile computing, global software engineering, computer-supported collaborative learning and distance education.
