The Office of Instruction is proud to congratulate our staff for the following achievements:
Gita Bangera, Dean of Research, Innovation, Service and Experiential Learning Institute (RISE) has accepted the position of Interim Vice President of Instruction. Gita has already begun working with instructional leadership and our current VPI, Tom Nielsen (who will retire at the end of July after 34 years of service to Bellevue College), to develop instructional priorities for the coming year. Gita has also been accepted to the 2016-17 cohort of the Dean’s Academy through the Center of Excellence for Careers in Education.
Along with Gita, Chris Bell, Director of Baccalaureate Development, and Iulia Zavodov, Program Manager, have also been accepted into the 2016-17 cohort of the Dean’s Academy.
Donna Sullivan, Director of Operations, has been awarded the Allen Spence Employee Scholarship for 2016-17 from the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC).
