\"Gift<\/a>The Staff\u00a0is now\u00a0collecting item donations for this year\u2019s \u201cYear End Celebration\u201d <\/strong><\/span>Wednesday, June 5, 2019<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0At the celebration, baskets are raffled away that are donated by each division.<\/p>\n

We will be filling baskets for three themes<\/strong>,<\/span> which are:<\/p>\n

1. Popcorn! Popcorn! Popcorn!<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>\u2013 bags of popcorn that are popped or unpopped.\u00a0 Popcorn seasonings, or popcorn serving containers.\u00a0 “Cracker Jacks” are always a big hit as is caramel corn or Kettle Corn.\u00a0 Use your imagination, we can deviate from the theme a little.\u00a0 Our baskets always turn out to be a lot of fun.\u00a0 We would like the baskets filled with POPCORN!<\/p>\n

\"Chocolate<\/a>
\n2. I Love Chocolate! <\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u2013\u00a0Chocolate bars, Chocolate sauce, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate pretzels, kisses, Chocolate cookies, hot chocolate. \u00a0 Recipe books for chocolate can be included. if it has chocolate in it, we want it in the basket.<\/p>\n

\"Coffee<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Coffee Break Time <\/strong><\/span>\u2013\u00a0 Coffee, creamer, sugar. coffee cups, coffee candy, recipes with coffee, coffee spoons, stir sticks, coffee grinder,\u00a0 anything related to coffee, anything about coffee, anything with coffee in it.<\/p>\n

\u2666 The money that is generated from the\u00a0raffle tickets go into an \u201cemergency fund<\/strong><\/span>\u201d designated for a one time use for faculty, staff and students.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

We will repeat what we did last year and that is to have a special raffle<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>for all the people that donate items<\/strong> for the raffle baskets. \u00a0Last year<\/strong> there were\u00a0several\u00a0winners in our division that received special gifts.<\/p>\n

Please give all \u00a0donation items to:\u00a0Janis Juarez,<\/span><\/strong>
\nMichelle<\/span> Chavez or Jin Wang <\/span>no later than May 20, 2019<\/span><\/strong>. \u00a0Make sure you tag your name on the items if we happen to be away from our desks, that way\u00a0your name\u00a0can added\u00a0 to our special \u201cin house<\/strong>\u201d \u00a0raffle list. \u00a0The \u201cin house<\/strong>\u201d raffle will take place on Thursday, June 6.<\/p>\n
