QM"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><\/h2>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #32448c\">Are you interested in learning about the QM Rubric?<br \/>\nApplying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/commons.bellevuecollege.edu\/artsandhumanities\/quality-matters-program-qm\/qm\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3104\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/commons.bellevuecollege.edu\/artsandhumanities\/qm\/qm\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3104\"><br \/>\n<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/commons.bellevuecollege.edu\/artsandhumanities\/qm\/qmsmall\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3113\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3113\" src=\"\/\/commons.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2017\/09\/QMsmall-300x226.png\" alt=\"Quality Matters Program\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nJOIN US\u00a0for an informative online workshop designed to help you understand the QM rubric!<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #14276b\"><strong>WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP ABOUT?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is QM&#8217;s flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses.<\/li>\n<li>In this course you&#8217;ll experience the process of applying the QM rubric to a real course.<\/li>\n<li>The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #14276b\">OUTCOMES<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #333333\">What will I learn?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nIn this workshop, participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify the underlying principles of QM<\/li>\n<li>Identify the critical elements of the QM quality assurance program, including the QM Rubric, materials, processes, and administrative components.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the QM Rubric, Fifth Edition, 2014 to review online courses.<\/li>\n<li>Make decisions on whether the SPCH 1113 course meets selected QM Rubric Standards.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the concept of alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Draft helpful recommendations for course improvement by citing annotations from the QM Rubric and evidence from the course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #14276b\"><strong>PREREQUISITES<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #333333\">Who should take this class?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anyone who is interested in learning more about using the Quality Matters rubric should take this class.\u00a0 There are no prerequisites for this course and it is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s not just for hybrid &amp; online instructors!\u00a0 This course will benefit instructors teaching in all modes, even face-to-face and web-enhanced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #14276b\">APPQMR vs. IYOC<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #333333\">What&#8217;s the difference between the APPQMR &amp; IYOC workshops?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take the APPQMR workshop if you would like to see the QM Rubric applied to someone else&#8217;s course; if you are interested in seeing what a course looks like before a QM review, and again after incorporating reviewer comments; or if you are considering becoming a Peer Reviewer or a facilitator.<\/li>\n<li>Take the IYOC workshop if you have already taken the APPQMR and need a refresher; if you want to practice applying the QM Rubric to your OWN class; or if you are interested in getting your feet wet, but not fully immersed!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #14276b\">DETAILS<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #333333\">What details do I need to know<\/span>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date: October 5 &#8211; October 24<\/li>\n<li>Location: Online in QM&#8217;s Moodle<\/li>\n<li>Time Commitment:\u00a0 Approximately 20-25 hours to complete.\u00a0 Please plan to work steadily throughout the session.<\/li>\n<li>Cost:\u00a0 FREE &#8211;
