“Opening Night” of the Theatre Arts musical<\/span> C<\/span>A<\/span>R<\/span>N<\/span>I<\/span>V<\/span>A<\/span>L<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

UPDATED Plans!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0We hope that you can join in on the fun for an evening of art, drama \u00a0& dinner with colleagues on March 11, 2015<\/span><\/strong>. Here’s the Itinerary for the evening\u00a0festivities:
\n1. \u00a0Attend the Art Gallery’s show in the afternoon.
\n2. \u00a0At 5:00 p.m<\/strong>. we will meet at the Art Gallery to carpool to the Square Lotus Restaurant<\/a>. Carpool, or if you don’t want to carpool, \u00a0meet everyone there at 5:45.<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0After dinner,\u00a0we will depart to the Carlson theatre<\/strong> for the opening night of C<\/span>A<\/span>R<\/span>N<\/span>I<\/span>V<\/span>A<\/span>L <\/span><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>Tickets $10, available\u00a0at:\u00a0http:\/\/www.brownpapertickets.com\/event\/1082887<\/a><\/p>\n

Tammi is also holding some tickets for our group at the door.<\/p>\n

\nIf you are unable to attend C<\/span>A<\/span>R<\/span>N<\/span>I<\/span>V<\/span>A<\/span>L<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>on Wednesday, please note that it runs through Saturday, March 14.<\/p>\n

Bellevue College Theatre Arts, with support from the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts in Seattle, will thrill audiences with their production of Carnival,<\/span><\/em> the 1962 Tony Award winner for Best Musical about a girl named Lilly who finds herself working in a traveling circus. Lilly is excited by Marco, the Magician, charmed by the Puppets she works with and is fearful of Paul, the puppeteer she begins to love.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Carnival<\/span><\/em> is based on the book by Michael Stewart, with music and lyrics by Bob Merrill. The BC Theatre Department purchased circus equipment for this thrilling production with assistance from a BC Foundation Mini-Grant.<\/span><\/p>\n
