Eliot, Ezra Pound, Marianne Moore, Wallace Stevens, H.D., William Carlos Williams, Carl Sandburg, and other now-classic authors. In succeeding decades it has presented\u2014often for the first time\u2014works by virtually every major contemporary poet.\u00a0On average, the magazine receives over 90,000 submissions per year, from around the world. <strong>Silano<\/strong> is the author of four full-length collections of poetry, including\u00a0<em>The Little Office of the Immaculate Conception,\u00a0<\/em>winner of the 2010 Saturnalia Books Poetry Prize and\u00a0<em>Reckless Lovely\u00a0<\/em>(Saturnalia Books 2014).<\/p>\n<p>She also co-edited, with Kelli Russell Agodon, a poetry-writing textbook titled\u00a0<em>The Daily Poet: Day-By-Day Prompts For Your Writing Practice.\u00a0<\/em><strong>Silano<\/strong> began teaching at Bellevue College in 2005.
