\u2666<\/span> NewsTalk with Ana<\/u>: A Reading Skills Workshop for English Language Learners<\/span> \u2013 Every Wednesday 4:30-5:30 from 1\/20\/16 to 3\/16\/16<\/span> |\u00a0NewsTalk<\/span><\/strong> is a workshop series for ELI students where they can learn different reading skills<\/strong><\/span> like paraphrasing and finding the main idea.\u00a0 Together, we will then practice applying these skills to our news stories.\u00a0 The students can also develop their speaking skills <\/span><\/strong>by contributing to the discussions as they share their thoughts and reactions to each story with the group.\u00a0 Ask the instructors and\/or tutors for more information!\u00a0 Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n
