\n\u2666<\/span> Do you have empty holiday gift baskets or nice\u00a0containers<\/strong><\/span> taking up space in your closets or cupboards?\u00a0 Need to find a place to donate them?\u00a0 Look no further.\u00a0 In anticipation of \"Gift<\/a>the End of the Year Celebration<\/strong> <\/span>(planning ahead) please bring them in and give them to Janis Juarez or Seda Markarova<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 The Arts & Humanities Division<\/strong> <\/span>will need them for the baskets we donate for the special raffle basket drawing every year.\u00a0 This is what we are hoping to put together for the 2016 End of the Year Celebration.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

\"Workshops\"<\/a><\/u>\u2666<\/span> NewsTalk with Ana<\/span>:\u00a0<\/span> A Reading Skills Workshop for English Language Learners<\/span> \u2013 Every Wednesday 4:30-5:30 in D204 from <\/strong>1\/20\/16 to 3\/16\/16 NewsTalk<\/strong> is a workshop series for ELL<\/strong> students where they can learn different reading skills<\/strong> like paraphrasing and finding the main idea.\u00a0 Together, we will then practice applying these skills to our news stories.\u00a0 The students can also develop their speaking skills <\/strong>by contributing to the discussions as they share their thoughts and reactions to each story with the group.\u00a0 Ask the instructors and\/or tutors for more information!\u00a0 Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n
