WORKSHOPS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2666<\/span> NewsTalk with Ana<\/u>:\u2013<\/span> Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00 in D204<\/span> from <\/strong>April 13 \u2013 June 8<\/span> NewsTalk<\/span><\/strong> is a weekly workshop series for ELL<\/strong> students where they can learn different reading skills<\/strong> like paraphrasing and finding the main idea.\u00a0 Together, we will then practice applying these skills to our news stories in dynamic activities.\u00a0 Students can develop their speaking skills <\/strong>by contributing to the discussions as they share their thoughts and reactions to each story with the group.\u00a0 We encourage faculty to let ELL students know about NewsTalk.<\/p>\n
