\"Scent<\/a>\u2666<\/span> In Response to health concerns, Arts & Humanities<\/strong><\/strong><\/span> has developed a Scent-Free<\/strong><\/strong> Policy<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0 Scented products such as hairspray, perfume, and deodorant can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches.\u00a0 Instructors, students, staff and visitors are asked to not use these products when visiting the A&H office<\/span>.\u00a0 Arts & Humanities<\/span> <\/strong>at Bellevue College is a Scent-free<\/strong><\/strong> <\/span>environment.\u00a0 Remember, what seems \u00a0like a light application to you can bring on a \u00a0situation where someone is put into serious distress.\u00a0 Please be mindful<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0 The biggest culprit is \u201cperfume<\/strong><\/strong><\/span>.\u201d\u00a0 Please read more.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

\"Workshops\"<\/a><\/u>\u2666<\/span> NewsTalk with Ana<\/u><\/span> \u2013 Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00 in D204 from <\/span><\/strong>April 13 \u2013 June 8<\/span> NewsTalk<\/span><\/strong> is a weekly workshop series for ELL<\/strong> students where they can learn different reading skills<\/strong> like paraphrasing and finding the main idea.\u00a0 Together, we practice applying these skills to our news stories in dynamic activities.\u00a0 Students can develop their speaking skills <\/strong>by contributing to the discussions as they share their thoughts and reactions to each story with the group.\u00a0 We encourage faculty to let ELL students know about NewsTalk<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
