\"Scent<\/a>FRIENDLY REMINDERS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2666<\/span> In Response to health concerns, Arts & Humanities<\/strong> <\/span>has developed a Scent-Free<\/strong> Policy<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Scented products such as hairspray<\/span>, perfume<\/span>, and deodorant<\/span> can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches.\u00a0 Instructors, students, staff and visitors are asked to not use these products when visiting the A&H office.\u00a0 Arts & Humanities at Bellevue College is a Scent-free<\/strong><\/span> environment.\u00a0 Remember, what seems\u00a0 like a light application to you can bring on a\u00a0 situation where someone is put into serious distress.\u00a0 Please be mindful<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0 The biggest culprit is \u201cperfume<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span> Please read more.<\/u><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2666<\/span> NewsTalk<\/u><\/strong><\/a> <\/span>\u2013 EVERY Wednesday from 4:30 pm \u2013 6:00 pm, September 28 – November 30, in D204,<\/strong> <\/span>the Academic Success Center. NewsTalk<\/span><\/strong> is a weekly workshop series for English Language Learning (ELL) students to learn different reading skills, like skimming and finding the main idea. In addition, \"Academic<\/a>students can develop their speaking skills by contributing to the discussions as they share their thoughts and reactions to the weekly topics with the group. We encourage faculty to let ELL students know about NewsTalk.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
