\nNow, more than ever, it\u2019s important that you do. In the 1930s, using the modern technology of film, radio, and posters, the politics of hate swarmed over the planet. We faced the preachers of hate in Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and even here in the U.S. Now we face something very similar, utilizing newer media tools like the web. Sponsored by the Office of Equity and Pluralism and the Communication Studies Department.<\/p>\n

\"Thanks<\/a>\u2666<\/span>\u00a0THURSDAY<\/span>, May 25, 2017<\/span> \u2013 \u201cThank you\u201d Drawing<\/span> <\/strong>for donating items or $$ to the End of the Year Celebration<\/span> baskets. You need not\u00a0be present to win.<\/p>\n

A huge \u201cT<\/span>H<\/span>A<\/span>N<\/span>K<\/span> Y<\/span>O<\/span>U<\/span><\/strong>\u201d to everyone that donated items or money for the raffle baskets. Because of your donations, we have a total of 10 baskets.<\/p>\n

\u2666<\/span> TUESDAY<\/span>,<\/strong> May 30, 2017<\/span> <\/strong>and WEDNESDAY<\/span>, May 31<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 11:00 am-2:00 pm, in the Cafeteria. \u00a0The Japanese Culture Exchange Club<\/a> <\/strong>will be fundraising during the API (Asian Pacific Islander) month.\u00a0 Authentic Japanese items will be on sale that were donated by friends and family.\u00a0 Come by and give your support. $$ Cash only $$<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Raffle<\/a>\u2666\u00a0<\/span> Year End Celebration raffle tickets<\/strong><\/span> will be available in the A\/H office (R 230) from staff by the end of the day on June 6<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Tickets are $1 each<\/strong><\/span>, they will also be available at the End of the year celebration<\/span><\/strong> on June 7<\/span> for a limited time.\u00a0 Your ticket(s) gives you chance to win one of the four baskets A&H will be donating plus all of the baskets donated by other divisions and departments.\u00a0 The proceeds will go directly to support and fund the Student & Faculty\/Staff Resource Network.\u00a0 Need not be present to win.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Charity<\/a>\u2666<\/span> Raffle tickets <\/strong><\/span>are also available in R230 from any of the staff for Suzy Lepeintre\u2019s charity Camp Kesem<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. $1 per ticket.\u00a0 All proceeds will be donated in Suzy\u2019s Name.\u00a0\u00a0Five baskets will be raffled off.\u00a0 This raffle is for all A&H staff and faculty.\u00a0 Raffle drawing will take place on Tuesday, June 6<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Need not be present to win.<\/em><\/p>\n
