\n\u2666<\/span>\u00a0 Jono Vaughan<\/strong><\/span>, tenure-track Art faculty, has won the 2017 Betty Bowen Award<\/a> from the Seattle Art Museum!\u00a0<\/span> More than 500 artists applied for this prestigious award.\u00a0 Jono\u2019s <\/strong><\/span>ongoing series, Project 42<\/em>, raises awareness about the extreme violence against trans people by commemorating 42 transgender individuals who have been murdered.\u00a0 More information will be sent out about the award ceremony at a later date.\u00a0 Please congratulate Jono<\/strong><\/span> on this tremendous honor!<\/p>\n
