\n\u2666<\/span> In response to health concerns, Arts & Humanities<\/strong> <\/span>has developed a Scent-Free Policy<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Scented products such as hairspray, perfume and deodorant<\/strong> <\/span>can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches.\u00a0 Instructors, students, staff and visitors are asked to not use these products when visiting the A&H office.\u00a0 Arts & Humanities at Bellevue College is a Scent-free environment<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Remember, what seems like a light application to you can bring on a situation where someone is put into serious distress.\u00a0 Please be mindful<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 The biggest culprit is \u201cperfume.\u201d\u00a0 Please read more<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\u2666<\/span>\u00a0 A&H English Instructor, Hyesu Park<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0 recently had her article \u201cJoy of Ugly Feelings: Korean \u201cBad Taste\u201d Webtoons as a Case Study<\/a>\u201d published in Studies in Twentieth & Twenty-First Century Literature<\/em>.\u00a0 STTCL is a peer reviewed academic journal housed in Kansas State University.<\/p>\n

\"Dance<\/a>\u2666<\/span> A&H Dance Instructor, Laura Peterson<\/a><\/span>,<\/strong> is pictured in the 90th<\/sup> anniversary issue<\/a> of Dance Magazine<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 Laura<\/a> is pictured presenting at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference that took place a few years ago.\u00a0 It was Laura\u2019s<\/span><\/strong> second time presenting at this particular conference.\u00a0 IADMS is the actual visionary and Laura is found to be the face of it!\u00a0 She has been a member of IADMS since 2007. Laura <\/span><\/strong>was very surprised and honored to be in the 90th<\/sup> Anniversary Dance Magazine and to be considered a visionary and influential.<\/p>\n

As our division is making celebrating the arts a priority, we would like to extend an invitation to the whole division. We meet the first Friday of each month at 10:30.
