\u2666<\/span> Thursday, Feb. 1, 2:30-3:30 p.m<\/strong>.,<\/span> Faculty Commons.\u00a0 Language and Community<\/strong>:<\/span>\u00a0 A Literary Discussion Group facilitated by Nan Ma<\/span>.\u00a0 Our group is now part of the official programming of the Faculty Commons.\u00a0 We will be discussing a short poem by Wang Ping and an interview<\/a> she gave, and Yiyun Li\u2019s \u201cTo Speak is to Blunder, but I Venture<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0 Both writers are immigrants from China who choose to write creatively in Chinese.\u00a0 The Faculty Commons is offering a $50 stipend<\/span> <\/strong>for instructors who submit an instruction-based reflection and\/or lesson plan on our discussions.\u00a0 \u2013 submitted by Nan Ma<\/em><\/p>\n
