\n\u2666<\/span> JAPAN WEEK <\/strong><\/span>will start Monday, October 1<\/span>,<\/strong> with a Taiko (Japanese drumming) hands-on workshop from 1:30-2:20 p.m<\/span><\/strong>.,<\/span> Room N201. Many other lectures\/demonstrations \u00a0will take place during the week. \u00a0Visit the Japan Week web site<\/a> for updated weekday activities

\n\"Japan<\/a>We are recruiting 200 volunteers<\/strong> for the final Saturday, Oct. 6<\/strong><\/span>, open-to-public \u201cFestival Day<\/strong>\u201d<\/span> and have 25 volunteer positions still open.\u00a0 Volunteers will receive a Japan Week T-shirt by volunteering for 4 hours or more.\u00a0 Please see the Volunteer Registration Form<\/a>.

\"Advisor<\/a>\u2666<\/span> Schedule CLASSROOM VISITS<\/strong><\/span> with Deanne Eschbach<\/strong><\/span> during fall quarter 2018<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 This includes any
\nclass within the A\/H division.\u00a0 They are approximately 10 minutes in length.\u00a0 The visit is very informal
\nand more of a question and answer format.\u00a0 The discussion involves registration and advising<\/strong>.<\/span> Visits are on any Tuesday<\/strong> or Wednesday<\/strong>.\u00a0 You are encouraged to schedule your visit soon.\u00a0 To schedule a visit, please contact the division front desk or Deanne Eschbach<\/a>, or stop by Deanne\u2019s office, R240E<\/strong>.
