If you want to export all the content in a course (images, pages, assignments, quizzes, etc\u2026) then select \u201c<em>course<\/em>\u201d. You don\u2019t need to be concerned about how to use the file or what the extension means. Simply\u00a0download the file to your computer, re-upload it to your new Canvas site, and Canvas will do all the work for you\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Note: it may take a few minutes, or even up to 20 minutes, to download the file. Choose \u201csettings\u201d in the left hand menu bar.\u00a0 Select \u201c<em>Import Content\u2026<\/em>\u201d from the right hand menu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> \u00a0Select \u201c<em>Content Type<\/em>\u201d and choose Canvas Course Export Package.\u00a0 Upload the imscc file that you downloaded from the previous Canvas course. It will take a little bit of time for Canvas to un-archive the imscc file. After a few minutes your old course content will be copied.
