The HITLab as well as the <em>Fundamentals of Interactive Entertainment<\/em> course was made possible through the efforts of virtual reality pioneer, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_A._Furness_III\">Dr. Thomas Furness<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This teaching relationship formed the basis for James Riggall&#8217;s residential Fulbright scholarship at Bellevue College.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>First Generation: Long Distance Learning Lab<\/h4>\n<p>This original course connected Furness&#8217;
