Goals (these are a work in progress!)

  1. Bring awareness and visibility
  2. Develop a campus-wide mindset of access versus accommodation (example: captioning across all venues)
  3. Think critically about how to make spaces accessible to everyone
  4. Create communication norms that include everyone
  5. Lift neurodivergent voices, including undiagnosed faculty, staff, students; and include them in planning and committees
  6. Address “othering” and ableism
  7. Listen to everyone and not only the “socially capable” or “culturally appropriate”
  8. Include Neurodiversity in Intersectionality
  9. Build connections across campus and become level partners
