The Staff is now collecting item donations for this year’s “Year End Celebration” Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  At the celebration, baskets are raffled away that are donated by each division.

We will be filling baskets for three themes, which are:

1. Popcorn! Popcorn! Popcorn! – bags of popcorn that are popped or unpopped.  Popcorn seasonings, or popcorn serving containers.  “Cracker Jacks” are always a big hit as is caramel corn or Kettle Corn.  Use your imagination, we can deviate from the theme a little.  Our baskets always turn out to be a lot of fun.  We would like the baskets filled with POPCORN!

2. I Love Chocolate! – Chocolate bars, Chocolate sauce, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate pretzels, kisses, Chocolate cookies, hot chocolate.   Recipe books for chocolate can be included. if it has chocolate in it, we want it in the basket.

3. Coffee Break Time –  Coffee, creamer, sugar. coffee cups, coffee candy, recipes with coffee, coffee spoons, stir sticks, coffee grinder,  anything related to coffee, anything about coffee, anything with coffee in it.

♦ The money that is generated from the raffle tickets go into an “emergency fund” designated for a one time use for faculty, staff and students. 

We will repeat what we did last year and that is to have a special raffle for all the people that donate items for the raffle baskets.  Last year there were several winners in our division that received special gifts.

Please give all  donation items to: Janis Juarez,
Michelle Chavez or Jin Wang no later than May 20, 2019.  Make sure you tag your name on the items if we happen to be away from our desks, that way your name can added  to our special “in house”  raffle list.  The “in house” raffle will take place on Thursday, June 6.
