♦  SHAREPOINT UPDATE
. Jon Kissoondyal and Janis Juarez will be meeting with the A&H Site Collection Administrators on Thursday, April 27 at 11:00 am. We will be contacting people in our division soon after (perhaps beginning on Monday) that have sites located in the existing A&H Sharepoint site. We will be working with each site maintainer to get documents transferred over to the new site as quickly as possible. We are aware that there are sites for BaTS, Interior Design, World Languages and English.

Don’t forget to mark the links “public,” see below for instructions.

  1. Go into settings (located at the bottom on the left-hand menu).
  2. scroll down to “Visibility,” make sure the word “course” is in the box.
  3. Right beneath the Visibility box – check  “Customize,”
  4. the word “syllabus” should be showing,
  5. make sure the word “public” is displayed

Congratulations to Elaine Nutter, winner of this year’s Margin of Excellence Award for exempt staff!  Elaine is the Transition to College Navigator in Basic and Transitional Studies (BaTS).  Her work focuses on advising BaTS students as they transition to college-credit courses.  She is also one of the founders of the STAR Center.  The STAR Center is a drop-in advising center for students as they plan their next steps to college or a career.  Elaine is a valued member of the BaTS team! Congratulations Elaine!!

Bruce Wolcott  CONGRATULATIONS! to Bruce Wolcott, winner of this year’s Margin of Excellence Award for adjunct faculty. Bruce teaches for CMST and the DMA program in iBIT. He also is in the eLearning Center in the Library assisting faculty with online instruction.  He is very creative and has interests in new media, writing for the web, visual storytelling, animation, and virtual reality.  He is awesome! Congratulations Bruce!!
